According to my calendar (which is not too reliable as it is a mental calendar :-), September 16th will be the due date for our first MISs. Coincidentally ... CUTTING DOWN TO 32 ..... you will need to have roster cuts into me by the newsletter before week #1. Midnight on September 15th will be the deadline to get your roster to 32. Speaking of rosters ... HARD UPPER LIMIT ON ROSTERS Last year we were allowed to exceed the roster limit of 35. This is not the case this year. You can never go over the roster limit, meaning that if you make a trade that puts you over the limit, whether that limit be 32 or 35 players, your trade will not go through. REVIEW BOARD/STATISTICS The Review Board has been filled. As I remember (and I am working from the top of my head here) we had three volunteers: Patrick Shea, Tom Vinacci, Mark McNeil., If that is incorrect, or you volunteered for the Review Boar and I forgot you, let me know, please. As for statistics ... we never got a volunteer from the Central Division. I was extremely disappointed at this because we had no problem finding one volunteer for each of the other divisions. Still, I was not going to institute this plan unless I received adequate response, so, barring some mass upheaval concerning this decision, I am deciding to keep statistics as they were last year; however, there will be IP Points estblished for not compiling and releasing your team's statistics. More specifics on this will follow in the next newsletter. AS FOR THE SHORT NEWSLETTER ... Hey! In these days before the season start, nothing much ahppens. Savor these moments, because in two weeks you will be getting all the NSHL you can handle. Next newsletter I will be going through and reviewing all the little things you need to know to get through the NSHL seasno. Deadlines, organizational and playing rules, and expectations will be focused on. Until then, have a nice preseason. ************************************************************************** Regular Season Standings Eastern Conference Northeast Division GP W L T PTS PCT GF GA IP Long Island Ghouls 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 Buffalo Bulldogs 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 -2 Quebec Polar Sphynx 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 Indianapolis Chiefs 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 Manayunk Bullies 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 Atlantic Division GP W L T PTS PCT GF GA IP Brooklyn Gulag 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 Lyndonville Blades 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 Rush-Henrietta Comets 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 St. Michael's Privateers 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 New Jersey River Rats 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 Western Conference Western Division GP W L T PTS PCT GF GA IP West Coast Dopplegangers 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 Vultures of Fresno 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 Seattle Pirates 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 Fort Garry Fiddler Crabs 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 Vancouver Scouts 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 Central Divison GP W L T PTS PCT GF GA IP Florida Hellcats 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 Toronto Arenas 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 Chicago Destroyers 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 Montreal Wanderers 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 Detriot LugNuts 0 0 0 0 0 0.000 0 0 0 ************************************************************************** IP Penalties The following penalties have been assigned in accordance with the Constitution.
