The 2020 free agent draft is just around the corner. This year's draft is scheduled to be held on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020 starting at 11 a.m. Eastern time.
As you prepare for the draft, please keep these dates and actions in mind:
** Pre-draft cuts must be reported by 11 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday,
Sept. 20.
** Because the constitution calls for the draft to take place eight days
before Canadian Thanksgiving, we’ll conduct the draft on Sunday, Oct. 4,
starting at 11 a.m. Eastern time.
If you plan to participate live, be sure you’ll be available and online during this time. As in past years, all coaches, including those who plan to take part live are required to submit a list (or other instructions on how your picks should be handled).
Most likely, I’ll again set up onlinedraft.com to help manage the draft. I’ll send more information on this topic later. That said: If anyone has a fantasy draft management site that you think is worth us using, let me know what’s in mind.
Remember that teams can continue drafting until their rosters reach 39 players. In addition, this will be the last draft that runs 10 rounds and lets teams continue drafting past round 10.
By the way: As I’ve done in recent years, I’ll post my draft list for anyone to use (and/or laugh at :-) ).
